Is this what we are teaching?

Are we really teaching our children that lying is acceptable?

Are we really teaching our children that NOT following the rules is what we should be doing?

Are we really teaching our children that we do not have to abide by laws?

Are we really teaching our children that hatred is alright?

Are we really teaching our children that bullying is okay?

Are we really teaching our children that prejudice is just fine?

Are we really teaching our children that it’s good to be selfish?

Are we really teaching our children that throwing a tantrum or getting angry at someone to get our way is needed in order to get our way? 

Are we really teaching our children that it is alright NOT to work hard?

Are we really teaching our children that being dependent on others is good?

Are we really teaching our children that we do NOT need to be our best or try our best? 

Is this what we are teaching our kids? If it is, then what are we really teaching our children?

Whether we realize it or not, we are teaching our children every single minute of every single day. Whatever we are doing or saying and the way we are acting or not acting, our children are listening and watching us, all of us!

Be careful that we are NOT teaching our children any of the above; if we are, then what kind of person will they become? What kind of future will we all have? What will all of this mean to all of us for our future?

Think about it…it’s scary if you really think about it, isn’t it? Don’t we all need to do the right thing for each of our children? After all, all the children raised today will be “our” children for our future lives! Think about it…
